The Drawing & Painting Week

While drawing from the model on Monday and Tuesday you will be encouraged to develop the kind of drawing that leads to bold decisive lines or tones that evoke light, space and the model’s presence and attitude.  From Wednesday to Friday you will be painting, with the emphasis on firm, clear unfussy structure.  You will be shown how to achieve clarity of space by making decisions that affect the whole composition.

Kensington Palace Studios is part of The Prince’s Drawing School and The Prince’s Charities, a group of not-for-profit organisations of which The Prince of Wales is President. We are one of only a few art schools in the world offering in-depth, quality tuition for those who wish to develop their observational drawing skills.
